Augusta — James Sheppard and Don Tuttle have a lot in common.

They both served in Italy during World War II. They both entered the war in January 1944 at the age of 19.

Tuttle was a tail gunner on a B-24 Liberator bomber.

And Sheppard was an aviation ...
